KNOXVILLE ESTATE PLANNING COUNCIL

Join us for a buffet lunch and a panel discussion on wisdom for the Knoxville Estate Planning Community on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Members on the panel are experienced attorneys who help their clients with thoughtful estate planning and administration. Our panel will consist of:

- Courtney Cox, Associate Attorney at Franklin & Kyle Elder Law. Courtney is dedicated to the practice of elder law, and she is accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs to prepare and present claims for veterans before the VA. She serves on the board of directors of the East Tennessee Community Design Center (ETCDC).

- Patrick Noel, Attorney at Guyton & Frère Elder Law. Patrick is a certified elder law specialist with the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization. He sits on panels for organizations such as Alzheimer's Tennessee, the Tellico Village Library, and Care Around the Block.

- Bailey Schiermeyer, Partner at Elder Care Law of Tennessee. Bailey is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA), certified by the National Elder Law Foundation. She is also passionate about special needs planning and is a member of the Special Needs Alliance.

This panel discussion will be moderated by Attorney David Luhn, managing Partner at Norton & Luhn. In serving their clients well, these attorneys have had a tremendous impact on Knoxville. They will share their wisdom and “war” stories to help us learn from their experiences.
